Killian's Irish Red Ale

This is my next home brew project. I found the original recipe for George Killian's Irish Red Ale from Pellforth.

The interesting thing is that it is supposed to have an alcohol content of 6.6% ABV. The ones I have drunk in the United States have an alcohol content of 5%. Maybe George Killian had to water down his recipe so it could be legally sold in the United States?

Let's see how I fare with this attempt.

How did your Killian's Irish Red Ale turn out?!? I have come into some slow roasted carmelized malts that I would like to use. Pellforth? Could you provide the recipe?

thanks!

Hi there, I apologize for not replying to your post. In fact I never got the chance to brew the recipe.

I got caught up and became very busy with so many things that I have done kits lately (since they use up less time to brew).

Hopefully sometime soon I'll find time to do the recipe.
